School Colours, &c.

Education Department,
Wellington, 24th June, 1920.

THE following claim for registration of school colours, &c.,
is gazetted in accordance with regulations published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of August, 1915.
Objections to the claim set forth must be addressed to
“The Registration Officer for School Colours, &c., Education
Department, Wellington,” and must be delivered at that
address within forty days of the date of the publication
hereof.

GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL, PALMERSTON NORTH.

Colours.—Navy-blue band 2 in. wide with white stripe
½ in. wide running horizontally ½ in. from each edge.

Badge.—A shield divided in two vertically, the left half
containing an eagle displayed and the right half a tower
surmounted by a flag; the shield enclosed by an octagonal
garter bearing thereon the motto “Semper Sursum,” and in
the base the letters “P.N.G.H.S.”

Election of Member of Southland Land Board.—Result of Poll.

I, THOMAS BROOK, Returning Officer for the election
of a member to the Southland Land Board, do hereby
notify, in accordance with section 41 of the Land Act, 1908,
and the regulations thereunder, the result of the poll taken
by me on the 21st day of June, 1920, for the election of a
member of the Southland Land Board to be as follows:—
