Laying out and taking Roads through Hariru, Poukai A, Motukaraka West A No. 6, and Manuoha Blocks, North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as roads the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

Situated in Block XII, Omapere Survey District.
Shown on plan marked L. and S. 21/148.

Situated in Block IX, Mangamuka Survey District.
Shown on plans marked L. and S. 16/754a and b.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Rangiuru No. 1a Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the eleventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-eight and forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-eight and forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed: 6 acres.
Portion of Rangiuru No. 1a Block, Block III, Maketu Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/720,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourteenth day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the destruction of the bush thereon:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 7, Block VII, Retaruke Survey District: Area, 11 acres 1 rood 39 perches.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Coromandel County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Whitianga Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
