DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, STANLEY AMBROSE MACDOUGALL and ALFRED GOTLEAP WISLANG, carrying on business as Printers under the style of “Wislang and MacDougall,” was on the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, dissolved by mutual consent. The said STANLEY AMBROSE MACDOUGALL will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities of the late firm and receive all moneys payable to the said firm.

HOBSON COUNTY.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of fifteen hundred pounds (£1,500), authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Avoca Settlement Roads, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (¾d.) in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Avoca Special Rating District, comprising the following area,—
Starting from the south-western corner of Section 11 of Block I, Maungaru Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of Sections 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, of said Block I, Maungaru Survey District, continued to the eastern boundary-line of Block V, Maungaru Survey District; thence through the Omu Block by the said eastern boundary-line of said Block V, Maungaru Survey District, to its intersection of the Tangowahine Stream; thence in a direct right line to the eastern boundary of Waiaruhe Block of Block VI, Maungaru Survey District; thence to the north-eastern corner of said Waiaruhe Block; thence to the south-eastern corner of Section 28 of Block I, Maungaru Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of Sections 28 and 2; thence by the western boundary of Sections 2, 1, 29 of Block I, Maungaru Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of Section 29 to the Tangowahine Stream; thence by the Tangowahine Stream to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XIII, Mangakahia Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of said Section 2 and of Section 3 of Block XVI, Tutamoe Survey District; thence by the western boundary of said Section 3 and of western boundary of Sections 36, 20, 19, 12, 11, of Block I, Maungaru Survey District, to the starting-point.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000), authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completion of bridges and formation and metalling of the Tangowahine Valley Karaka Roads, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and three-eighths of a penny (1⅜d.) in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tangowahine Valley Karaka Special Rating District, comprising the following area,—
Starting from the south-eastern corner of Section 28 of Block I, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the eastern boundary of Sections 28, 33, 34 to the north-eastern corner of Section 34 of Block I, Maungaru S.D.; thence through the Climatic Forest Reserve in a direct line to the junction of the Climatic Forest Reserve with the Te Karaka boundary; thence by the eastern boundary of said Te Karaka Block to the south-western corner of Section 8A of Block X, Mangakahia; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 13, 12, 10, 25, 24, of Te Karaka Block; thence by the western boundary of Section 24, Te Karaka Block; thence by the northern and western boundary of Section 10 (Palmer) of Block XII, Tutamoe S.D.; thence by the northern and western boundary of Section 7 of Block XVI, Tutamoe S.D.; and thence by the southern boundary of said Sections 7 and 8 to the south-western corner of Te Karaka Block; thence by the southern boundary of Te Karaka Block to the Tangowahine Stream; thence by the Tangowahine Stream to north-eastern corner of Section 29, Block I, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the north boundary of said Section 29 and by the western boundary of Section 29, 1 of Block I, Maungaru S.D.; thence by the southern boundary of Sections 2 and 28 to the starting-point.

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the shareholders of Edward Anderson and Co. (Limited) will be held at the offices of ARTHUR MAURICE ANDERSON, 113 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, one of the Liquidators, on the 5th day of July, 1920, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of laying before such meeting the Liquidators’ accounts showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and to offer any explanation the Liquidators may wish to give, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the company as required by the Companies Act, 1908.

THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.
In the matter of the Bannockburn Coal-mining Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company (Mr. W. R. Parcell’s Residence, Bannockburn) on Friday, the 7th day of May, 1920, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—
“That it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
And also that WILLIAM RICHARD PARCELL was at the same meeting duly appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
