That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges
on a loan of £700 (the cost of raising the loan is to be paid
out of the loan), authorized to be raised by the Pohangina
County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and amendments thereto, and the Housing Act, 1919, for
erecting a worker's dwelling for the use of the Pohangina
Riding Roadman, the Pohangina County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one-fifteenth of a penny
in the pound on the capital rateable value of all the rateable
property in the Pohangina Riding Roadman's Special Rating
Area, the same being Sections 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50,
51, 54, 55, 56, part 78, Block XIII, 61, 62, 65, 66, 68, 73,
Block IX, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30,
31, 32, 34, Block VI, 1 to 20, Block X, 5, Block VII, and
the whole of the rateable property in the suburbs and Town-
ship of Pohangina, all being in the Pohangina S.D.; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and
be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the
first day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Christ-
church City Council hereby resolves as follows :-
(1.) That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds
(£7,500), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City
Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for paying off the
balance of the Linwood Public Works Loan of £10,500,
the Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of forty-four one-hundred-and-twenty-sevenths
(44/127ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value
(being the unimproved value) of all rateable property com-
prised in the former Borough of Linwood; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty-six (36) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
(2.) That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of two thousand two hundred pounds
(£2,200), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City
Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for paying off the
Beckenham Loan of £2,200, the Christchurch City Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and
nine twenty-ninths of a penny (1d. 9/29ths) in the pound
upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value)
of all rateable property comprised within Rural Section
49 named by the Heathcote County Council “Beken-
ham Special Rating Area”; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six (36) years, or until the loan is fully paid
off.
(3.) That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of seven thousand four hundred and
thirty pounds (£7,430), authorized to be raised by the Christ-
church City Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for
paying off the Sydenham Waterworks Loan No. 2 of £7,430,
the Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one forty-fifth (1/45th) of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value)
of all rateable property comprised in the City of Christchurch
on the 1st April, 1903; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty-six (36) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIMATE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Wai-
mate Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a
loan of £7,000, authorized to be raised by the Waimate
Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
for the purpose of construction of sewage-disposal works,
the said Waimate Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of seven-eighths of a penny in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough
of Waimate, comprising the whole of the Borough of Waimate;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

New Plymouth Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :--
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges
on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the New
Plymouth Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913, for the purpose of the erection of workers' dwell-
ings, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one and one-half pence in the pound upon the rate-
able value of all rateable property in the Borough of New
Plymouth; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
