Notice to Mariners.—No. 36 of 1920.

NEW PLYMOUTH.—LEADING BEACONS AND LIGHTS.

Wellington, N.Z., 2nd June, 1920.

MARINERS are hereby notified that two triangular beacons, the rear one carrying a disc as a surmount, have been erected on the south side of the harbour. When in line bearing 199° (S. ¼° W. mag.) they lead 900 ft. from the end of the breakwater and 100 ft. clear of the breakwater extension.

The beacons are placed 100 ft. and 277 ft. respectively from high-water mark, and are painted white with a vertical black stripe in the middle. On and after 1st July, 1920, a fixed red light will be shown from each beacon, visible between the bearings of 199° (S. ¼° W. mag.) and 221½° (S. 25° 19′ W. mag.) at a distance of approximately 4 miles.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, ROBERT EDWARD HAYES, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Taranaki Boxing Association is no longer carrying on operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 23 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Lands in Wellington Land District surrendered.

NOTICE is hereby given that the surrender of the leases of the undermentioned lands having been accepted by resolution of the Wellington Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
