“(1.) That the land to the south-west of the road be sold to E. A. Merrin for the sum of £3 per acre.

“(2.) That on the execution by the lessee of a surrender of the existing lease of the land north-east of the road, a new lease be granted to him at 6s. per acre for the unexpired portion of the present period of twenty-one years, and a further twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value to affect the same land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pukeroa-Hangatiki 4c 2d 2 will be held in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kuiti on Thursday, the 17th day of June, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the portion of the land to the east of the Te Kumi-Hangatiki Road be leased to Donald Kennedy for a term of fifty years at an annual rental of 10s. per acre during the first twenty-five years, and 5 per cent. on the unimproved value during the next twenty-five years.”

“That the land or any part thereof be sold to the Union Box and Packing Case Company (Limited) for the sum of £5 per acre, or the amount of a special Government valuation, whichever be the greater.”
