ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fourteenth day of May, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Licensing Rupert George Skilton to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark at the Mouth of the Onekaka River, Golden Bay, as a Site for an Extension to Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fourteenth day of May, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned under the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), Rupert George Skilton (hereinafter called “the licensee”) did, in the year one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, apply to the Governor-General in Council for a license under the said Act to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at the mouth of the Onekaka River, Golden Bay, in order to erect a wharf thereon, and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-fiftieth section of the said Act, deposited a plan in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, marked M.D. 5021, showing the area of foreshore and land below low-water mark proposed to be occupied, and the manner in which it was proposed to erect the said wharf :
And whereas the Governor-General in Council did, by Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28, of the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, approve of the purpose for which the said foreshore and land below low-water mark were to be occupied, and granted a license for the purpose aforesaid on the terms and conditions therein expressed :
And whereas the licensee has applied for authority to make an extension to the said wharf in Onekaka River described in the said plan M.D. 5021, and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-fiftieth section of the said Act, has deposited a plan in the office of the said Marine Department at Wellington (marked M.D. 5170), showing the additional foreshore and land below low-water mark intended to be so occupied, and the nature and extent of the said extension intended to be made :
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and the said plan (marked M.D. 5170) has, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been approved by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas it is expedient that a license should be granted and issued to the licensee under the said Act, for the purpose last aforesaid, on the terms and conditions hereinafter expressed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the object for which the said license is required by the licensee as aforesaid ; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit the licensee to use and occupy that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark on which the said extension to the wharf in Onekaka River is to be erected, as shown on the plan M.D. 5170 so deposited as aforesaid, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining the said extension to the said
