Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block XVI,
Motuotaria Survey District, Wallingford and Wanstead
Road Districts.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with
the consents of the owners of the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, and of the Wallingford and Wanstead
Road Boards, being the local authorities in whose districts
the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in
Motuotaria Survey District described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as afore-
said, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road:—

(Hawke’s Bay R.D.).

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
46862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has be-
come Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf
of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act,
1909:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land
set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

NGATIRAHIRI 2 and 11 Blocks, 1892 Act Leases, Sale No. 1,
being Sections 95 and 96, Block V, and Section 2, Block VI,
Waitara Survey District: Approximate area, 291 acres
1 rood 6 perches.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal
by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special
tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of
Section 4, Block XI, Wharepapa Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 55 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Aotearoa
Road, 527·5, 557·8, 653·2, and 422·8 links; towards the south-
east by Section 3 of the aforesaid Block XI, 5206·7 links;
and towards the north-west by Section 4 of aforesaid
Block XI, 5966·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the
sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen,
and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of June then
instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged
soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915,
in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
