Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks X and XI, Waiau Survey District, Wairoa County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Blocks X and XI, Waiau Survey District, Wairoa County:

And whereas the Wairoa County Council has laid before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

Situated in Waiau Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.).

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42017, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block IX, Mapara Survey District, Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block IX, Mapara Survey District, Waitomo County:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 10 acres 1 rood 15·5 perches.

Being portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua Block 681 2B 6B, Block IX, Mapara Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Blocks XIII and XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners, mortgagees, and lessees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Rangitikei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Ohinewairua Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
