APPLICATION TO SUMMON A MEETING OF OWNERS UNDER PART XVIII OF THE NATIVE LAND ACT, 1909.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whetumatarau No. 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa, on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the Whetumatarau No. 3 Block be granted to Michael Ryan, of Te Araroa, settler, for twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the present Government valuation of the said land, with the right to compensation for improvements which are put by the lessee upon the said land and are unexhausted on the termination of the above term.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation of the land is £290.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1A 7 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the Marangairoa 1A 7 Block be granted to Mohi Ngatai, of Te Araroa, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years, at the annual rental equivalent to 5 per cent. of the Government capital valuation of the said land, with a right to compensation for improvements effected during the said term of twenty-one years.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation of the land is £665.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tihiomanono No. 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the Tihiomanono No. 3 Block be granted to Ngatai Hooper of Te Araroa, married woman, for a term of twenty-one years at an annual rental of not less than 5 per cent. of the capital Government valuation of the land, with the right to compensation for improvements effected thereon by the lessee during the said term.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation of the said land is £745.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1c 6A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 8th day of March, 1920, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the Marangairoa 1c 6A Block be granted to Karaitiana Manuera, of Waiapu, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rent equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the present capital valuation, but not to be less than 5s. per acre per annum for the first seven years, 7s. per acre per annum for the second seven years, and 8s. per acre per annum for the remainder of the term, together with the right to compensation for improvements effected by the lessee during the term.”

NOTE.—The capital valuation of the block is £2,190.
