CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 30 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less,
being Reserve 4029, situated in Block VII, Burke Survey
District. Bounded towards the north by the Burke’s Pass
Road, 768·5 and 4509·9 links; towards the east by Reserve
3986, 622·1 links; towards the south by Run 25, 6055·6 links;
and towards the north-west by the Burke’s Pass Road, 139
and 830·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
8/8/64, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. As
a resting-place for travelling stock.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 79 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more
or less, being Reserve 3986, situated in Block VII, Burke
Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the Burke’s
Pass Road, 1747·3, 889, 752·8, 715·2, 763·6, and 868·4 links;
towards the east and south by Run 25, 800 and 5581·7 links
respectively; towards the west by Run 25, 800 links, and by
Reserve 4029, 622·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
8/8/64A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For
plantation purposes.

thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.


LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the tenth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as
the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the
prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those men-
tioned in the said Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

TOWN LAND.

Hutt County.—Town of Mawaihakona.

SECTION 30: Area, 3 roods 28 perches; upset price, £120.
Section 34: Area, 1 acre; upset price, £130.

Mawaihakona is situated adjacent to Trentham Railway-
station. The sections offered are flat, with fair soil, somewhat
stony, on gravel formation. They are desirable on account
of their proximity to the racecourse and golf-links.

VILLAGE LAND.

Kiwitea County.—Village of Marshall.

Marshall Village is situated on the Kiwitea Stream, on the
main Ohingaiti—Rangiwahia Road, about eight miles from
Ohingaiti Railway-station. It comprises flat and undulating
land of fair quality, on clay and papa formation. Elevation
about 1,300 ft. above sea-level.

Kiwitea County.—Village of Karewarewa.

Sections 5, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and 32: Area, 2 acres
0 roods 14 perches; upset price, £33.

Level land in grass; good soil, on papa formation. Kare-
warewa Village is about four miles and a half from Rangi-
wahia by good road.

RURAL LAND.

Mauriceville County.—Kopuaranga Survey District.

Section 210, Block II: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 8 perches;
upset price, £15.

Situated between main road and railway, about one mile
from Mauriceville Railway-station. Low-lying flat land in
grass and swamp. Soil of good quality, on limestone for-
mation. There is a fence on the boundary between the
section and the adjoining railway land.

General, this seventeenth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty.
