SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Hall Street, situated between Riddiford Street and the Town Belt. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47302, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Aro Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1920.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to Aro Street in the said city” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

ALL that portion of Aro Street, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, situated between Willis Street and the Town Belt (with the exception of the northern portion of the said street situated between Willis Street and Ohio Road). As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47024, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Prescribing for Payment of Fees and Locomotion Expenses under the Payment of Jurors Act, 1919.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, 1920.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section two of the Payment of Jurors Act, 1919, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, the fees and locomotion expenses to jurors for their attendance at any sittings of the Supreme Court, and to every person who attends as a juror at any inquest held before a Coroner; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force and take effect on and from the nineteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.
SCHEDULE.
RATES OF PAYMENT.
Common jurors attending any civil or criminal sitting, or any juror attending a Coroner’s inquest :
For every day’s attendance or part of a day’s attendance £ s. d.

EXPENSES OF LOCOMOTION.
In addition to the fees herein prescribed, each juror shall receive a refund of the actual expenses of locomotion in attending such sittings, to include railway, coach, or steamer fares; and, when there is no public conveyance, jurors shall be allowed a mileage rate of 9d. per mile one way if residing beyond two miles from the town or city in which the Court or inquest is held.

Road in Takapu No. 1 Block, Horowhenua County, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road, situated in the Wellington Land District, Horowhenua County, commencing at its junction with a public road situated between Takapu No. 1 Block, Block XIV, Mount Robinson Survey District, and the Wellington-Manawatu Railway, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through portion of the said Takapu No. 1 Block. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47566, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
