Setting apart Lands in Otago Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs under the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and eight of the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the pastoral lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hundred and eight to two hundred and twenty-two of Part V of the Land Act, 1908, relating to small grazing-runs.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Kinohaku East No. 5 Section 2 Block to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, duly laid out as road-lines, in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913: And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-lines should be proclaimed public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act: And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914: And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed public roads: Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land to be proclaimed: 2 acres 2 roods 1 perch.

Being portion of Kinohaku East No. 5B Section 2 Block, situated in Block XI, Otanake Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/713,

deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the eighteenth day of March then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

SECTION 1, Block VII, and Section 1, Block X, Whareorino Survey District: Area, 1,231 acres 2 roods 20 perches.

Varicella (Chicken-pox) declared to be an Infectious Disease.—(P.H. No. 13.)

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of section twelve of the Public Health Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the disease called or known as varicella or chicken-pox to be an infectious disease within the meaning of the said Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.
