And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off.

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE OVER THE TE HOE STREAM BRIDGES LOAN NO. 3 SPECIAL RATING AREA.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Eketahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of one thousand nine hundred pounds, authorized to be raised by the Eketahuna County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of building three bridges, deviating, forming, and fencing the road, the said Eketahuna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound (½d. in £1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Hoe Stream Bridges Loan No. 3 Special Rating Area, comprising parts 192/3, Sections 194/6, 129/30, 132/3, Block X; 127/8, Block XI; 30/3, 182, Block IX; the whole of Block XIV; Lots 4/5 of 210, Lot 6, parts 7/10, Sections 157/62, 170/4, 177/85, 34/6, 39/40, 42, Block XIII; Puketoi S.D.: part Lots 7/10 of 210, part Lot 4 of 151, Block I; part Lots 3, 4, of 151, Sections 143/4, 148/9, 181, Block II; Mangapakeha S.D. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, ARTHUR EDWIN BENNETT and ROBERT GARROWAY, Jun., under the style or firm of “Bennett and Garroway,” Farmers, of Te Puke, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent by the retirement of the said Arthur Edwin Bennett. The said ROBERT GARROWAY, Jun., will pay and discharge all the liabilities of the late firm.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Whakatane Borough Council High-pressure Water-supply Loan, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of plant and material and payment of labour, &c., the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and three farthings (1¾d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that a special resolution of the above-named company was duly passed by entry in the minute-book on the 13th day of April, 1920, for the voluntary liquidation of the company.
