District, being the terminating point as described in an Order
in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 5, of the
23rd of January, 1920, and proceeding thence in a north-
westerly and then south-westerly direction generally along
portion of the northern boundary of the said Section 5 and
portion of the southern boundary of Section 3, and the south-
ern boundary of Section 2, Block I, Moeangiangi Survey
District; thence through Section 1, Block IV, Maungaharuru
Survey District, and terminating at the point where it first
meets the eastern boundary of Section 2, Maungaharuru
Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 60 chains, more
or less.

Also all that portion of road known as the Stock Route,
situated in the Awa-o-totara Block, Hawkes’ Bay Land Dis-
trict, Hawke’s Bay County, and commencing at its junction
with the Matahaura Road at the south-western corner of
Section 2, Block I, Moeangiangi Survey District, and proceed-
ing thence in a northerly direction generally along the western
boundary of the said Section 2, and terminating about twenty
chains from the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block IV,
Maungaharuru Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 60
chains, more or less.

As the said portions of roads are more particularly de-
lineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48354, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and
green, and lettered C-D and E-F respectively.

Declaring Road in Block V, Waiopehu Survey District,
Horowhenua County, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day
of April, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Ze-
land, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and declare that the portion of road described in the Sche-
dule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become a Government road.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Govern-
ment road: 3 roods 26·5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 77 (Horowhenua East
Village Settlement), Block V, Waiopehu Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47919,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under the Public Works
Act, 1908.


LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day
of April, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works
Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it
is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, pur-
chased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act
or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
public work is not required for such public work the
Governor-General may, by an Order in Council publicly
notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the
conditions set forth in the said Act:

And whereas the pieces of land described in the Schedule
hereto have been acquired for the purposes of the Kaipara-
Waikato Railway:

And whereas the said pieces of land are not now required
for the purposes of the said Kaipara–Waikato Railway, and
the Minister of Railways has recommended that this Order in
Council should be issued directing such parcels of land to be
sold:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct the sale of the said land.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 2 acres 3 roods
24·9 perches and 3 acres 1 rood 27·3 perches.

Portions of railway reserve (parts Sections 7 and 8, Papakura
Parish), Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau
County. (S.O. 20683, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 27238,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured yellow and neutral tint.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Glen Innes
Domain.


LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day
of April, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from
time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any
local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to
Part II of the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixteenth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day
of that month, the Glen Innes Domain, described in the
Schedule hereto, was brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said
Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

THE TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD

to be the Glen Innes Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and
subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby
appoint Thursday, the twenty-ninth day of April, one thou-
sand nine hundred and twenty, at two o’clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Tamaki West Road Board Office as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

GLEN INNES DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more
or less, being Lot 1 of Allotment 16A, Parish of Waitemata.
Bounded towards the north by Lot 2 of the aforesaid Allot-
ment 16A, 242·9 links; towards the north-east by high-
water mark of the Tamaki River; towards the south by a
reserve one chain wide along the aforesaid Tamaki River;
and towards the north-west by a public road, 380·3 and
889·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As
the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/633,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan
No. 20479, blue.)
