RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of four hundred pounds (£400), authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Ahuroa-Komokoriki Road, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Ahuroa-Komokoriki Special Rating District in the County of Rodney, comprising of all that area within the boundaries commencing at the railway-line on the south-east corner of Section 33, Parish of Ahuroa; thence along the southern boundary of that section to its south-west corner, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction along the Komokoriki Parish boundary to the south-eastern corner of Section 52A, Parish of Komokoriki; thence following the same parish boundary to the south-west corner of Section 50, Parish of Komokoriki; thence along the western boundary of that section to its north-west corner; thence in a westerly direction generally along a public road fronting the southern boundaries of Sections 58, 59, 48, 47, 46, 45, 44, 1, 2, and 3, all of Komokoriki Parish, to the junction of that road with the Komokoriki Parish boundary; thence following that boundary in a north-westerly direction to the north-west corner of Section 19, Parish of Komokoriki; thence across a public road and along the south-western boundary of Section 20, Parish of Komokoriki, to the north-west corner of that section; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 20 and along a public road to the south-west corner of Section 23 of the same parish; thence along the south-west boundary of that section to its north-west corner; thence along the Komokoriki Parish boundary in a north-easterly direction generally to the north-east corner of Section 80, Parish of Komokoriki; thence following the Komokoriki Parish boundary to the north-west corner of Section 94, Parish of Ahuroa; thence along the eastern boundary of that section to its south-east corner; thence in an easterly direction generally along the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of Section 101, Ahuroa Parish, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 89 of the same parish to the north-east corner of Section S.W. 30, Ahuroa Parish; thence along the eastern boundary of the said Section S.W. 30 to a public road; thence along that public road to the point of commencement at the south-east corner of Section 33, Parish of Ahuroa. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000), authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Warkworth-Kaipara Flats Road, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny halfpenny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Warkworth-Kaipara Flats Special Rating District in the County of Rodney, comprising of all that area within the boundaries commencing at the parish boundary on the eastern side of the railway-line at the north-western corner of Section 18, Parish of Kourawhero; thence generally in a north-easterly direction along the parish boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 93, Parish of Kourawhero; thence along the western boundary of Section 52, Parish of Hoteo, to its north-western corner; thence along the northern boundaries of that section and Section 51 in the same parish; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 51 to the north-eastern corner of Section 45; thence along the north-western boundaries of Sections 48, 47, and 46, all in the Parish of Hoteo, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 46; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section and by a public road to the parish boundary;

thence to the east generally along the northern boundaries of the Parishes of Kourawhero and Mahurangi to the most northerly corner of Section 182 in the latter parish; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of that section to its south-western corner; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 36, Parish of Mahurangi, to its south-western corner; thence by the western boundary of that section to the south-eastern corner of Section 113 in the same parish; thence by the southern boundaries of that section and Section 100 to the most easterly corner of Section 94; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections 96B and 96c to the south-eastern corner of the latter section; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 96c, 96A, and 95, all in the Parish of Mahurangi, to the most easterly corner of Section 55; thence by the south-eastern boundary of that section to the north-western corner of Section 54 in the same parish; thence by a right line intersecting Sections 55 and 58 to a point on the western boundary of the latter section (to include 100 acres of Section 55 and 64 acres of Section 58); thence along the south-eastern boundary of Section 133, Parish of Mahurangi, to its most southerly corner at the parish boundary; thence along the southern boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1 of Section 15 (Streamlands Settlement) to a public road; thence across the public road to the Kourawhero Stream, and by that stream to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Parish of Kourawhero; thence along the north-western boundary of that section to its north-western corner; thence by a right line generally in a westerly direction intersecting Sections 2, 8, and 7 in the Parish of Kourawhero (so as to include 110 acres of Section 2, 768 acres of Section 8, and 115 acres of Section 7); thence by the western boundary of the said Section 7 to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line generally in a north-westerly direction to the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WESTERN TAIERI LAND DRAINAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1910, the Land Drainage Act, 1912, the Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1917, the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Western Taieri Land Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,900, authorized to be raised by the Western Taieri Land Drainage Board under the abovementioned Acts, for the purpose of reconstructing embankments and outlet-box, also pumping-works, the said Western Taieri Land Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate on all the rateable land within the Western Taieri Land Drainage District as follows, namely:

On all lands in Class A : Twopence per acre.

On all lands in Class B : One penny and thirteen-fifteenths of a penny per acre.

On all lands in Class C : One penny and eleven-fifteenths of a penny per acre.

On all lands in Class D : One penny and nine-fifteenths of a penny per acre.

On all lands in Class E : One penny per acre.

On all lands in Class F : Two-thirds of a penny per acre.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half or until the loan is fully paid off.

KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kawa Drainage Board resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the instalment in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Kawa Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for constructing, widening, deepening, and improving drains in the Kawa Drainage District, including the purchase of all necessary plant and materials, the said Kawa Drainage Board hereby
