Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XV,
Tutamoe Survey District, Uawa County.
[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the pur-
poses of a road in Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District,
Uawa County:
And whereas the Uawa County Council has laid before
the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a map
and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said
Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the eighth day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 1 rood
16 perches.
Portion of Tutamoe No. 2, Block XV, Tutamoe Survey
District (Poverty Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45616,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross
of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order,
Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of
Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-
in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion
of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and
issued under the Seal of the said Dominion,
at the Government House at Wellington, this
third day of April, in the year of our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Land taken for the Purposes of Waterworks in Blocks VIII
and XIII, Taylor Pass Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes
of waterworks in Blocks VIII and XIII, Taylor Pass Survey
District:
And whereas the Blenheim Borough Council has laid
before the Governor-General a memorial, accompanied by a
map (in duplicate) and also the statutory declaration, as
required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act,
1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the
said waterworks, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Burgesses of the Borough of Blenheim as from the
date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day
of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Situated in Taylor Pass Survey District.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47764,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Amending Regulations under the Discharged Soldiers
Settlement Act, 1915.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this first day
of April, 1920.
Present :
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”),
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, the
regulations under the said Act made on the twentieth day
of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second
day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

SCHEDULE.
CLAUSE 20 of the said regulations is hereby amended by
adding to subclause (c) thereof the following proviso :—
Provided that the Minister, on the recommendation of the
Land Board, may authorize an advance not exceeding £500,
and in exceptional cases not exceeding £750, to be made for
buildings on rural holdings not exceeding in area 21 acres,
in cases where the Board is of opinion that the amount that
may be advanced under these regulations is not required,
or is not likely to be required, for any other purpose.

power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of March, 1920.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR WILLIAM FRASER PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the powers vested in the
Governor-General by the Electric-power Boards Act,
1918, a Proclamation was issued on the twenty-third day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, constituting
the Wairarapa Electric-power District to be a district under
and for the purposes of the said Act :
And whereas the said Act requires that the number of
representatives of each constituent district in the said district
shall be such as is determined from time to time in each case
by the Governor-General by Order in Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
