SANITARY CONVENIENCES LOAN OF £1,852.—SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two pounds (£1,852), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council, under the above-mentioned Act, to provide sanitary conveniences, consisting of a urinal of eight stalls, four W.C.s, and one lavatory, at the intersection of Cashel Street and High Street, at an estimated cost of one thousand eight hundred pounds (£1,800), and to provide fireclay fittings in the existing iron conveniences throughout the city at an estimated cost of fifty-two pounds (£52), the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one one-hundred-and-eightieth (1/180th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two (32) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pahiatua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Pahiatua Borough Council Electric Light and Power Scheme Loan of £6,000, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the electric light and power scheme, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and one halfpenny (1½d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the said Borough of Pahiatua; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.
OPAWA PARK LOAN.—SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase and improvement of a piece of land bounded by Langdown, Bunyan, and Domett Streets, and Wilson’s Road, Sydenham Ward, for use as a pleasure-ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of that part of Sydenham Ward of the City of Christchurch named, by resolution of the Christchurch City Council, “Opawa Park Special Rating Area,” the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventy-three one-hundred-and-twenty-eighths (73/128ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the said Opawa Park Special Rating Area, the boundaries of which said part are set out in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-two (32) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
