SPECIAL CONDITION.
The lessee of Section 5s shall supply sufficient water, when available, for the use of stock to the lessees of Sections 2s and 4s at the rate of £1 per annum each, the water to be delivered at the present water-troughs on the south-east boundary of Section 2s and the south-west boundary of Section 4s. In the event of a dispute the matter shall be referred to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, whose decision shall be final. The lessee of Section 5s has certain rights to water from a distant spring, particulars of which may be obtained from the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
Tilvestowe Settlement is situated about one mile and a quarter from Island Cliff Railway-siding, post-office, and school, and about three miles and a half from Ngapara Railway-station. The land varies from undulating to easy downs and spurs, with one or two steep faces, the latter affording excellent grazing. Adapted for dairying and mixed farming. The altitude is from 600 ft. to 980 ft. above sea-level. The soil is a rich loam, on a limestone formation. Access is provided by good roads.

Small Grazing-runs in Otago Land District open for Selection by Discharged Soldiers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned small grazing-runs are open for selection by discharged soldiers under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 24th day of May, 1920.
Applicants must appear before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 27th day of May, 1920, at 10 o’clock a.m.
The ballot will be held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, at the conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
Subdivisions of Kyeburn Runs.—Waitaki and Maniototo Counties.—Mount Buster, Domett, Kyeburn, Naseby, and Maniototo Survey Districts.
RUN 575 : Area, 5,276 acres ; half-yearly rent, £20.
Weighted with £72, valuation for fencing.
The run comprises steep country ranging in altitude from 2,300 ft. to 5,200 ft. above sea-level, very cold in winter. Situated about two miles from Naseby Town and about eleven miles from Ranfurly Railway-station.
Run 576 : Area, 17,160 acres ; half-yearly rent, £37 10s.
Weighted with £54 12s., valuation for fencing.
The altitude is from 1,600 ft. to about 5,000 ft. above sea-level. A small area of flat has a fair vegetation, but the remainder has coarse tussock, and generally poor native grasses. Very cold in winter, and unsafe in specially severe winters. Situated about sixteen miles from Kokonga Railway-siding ; school and post-office on the ground. Good roads to Kokonga and to Naseby, which is about twelve miles distant.
Run 591 : Area, 5,580 acres ; half-yearly rent, £20.
Weighted with £152 4s., valuation for fencing.
The altitude is from 2,300 ft. to 5,200 ft. above sea-level. Aspect southerly, very cold in winter. Good tussock and native grasses. Situated about four miles from Naseby and about thirteen miles from Ranfurly Railway-station.

Land in the Auckland Land District for Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 21st March, 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands are open for sale or lease under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and the regulations thereunder; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 24th May, 1920.
The lands may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or selected on lease for thirty-three years, with right of renewal for further successive terms of thirty-three years and a right to acquire the freehold.
Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 26th May, 1920, at 10 o’clock a.m.
The ballot will be held at the conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Te Miro Settlement.—Piako County.—Cambridge Survey District.
SECTIONS 32 and 70 : Area, 669 acres 1 rood ; capital value, £2,800 ; annual instalment on deferred payment (excluding interest), £140 ; half-yearly rent on lease, £63.
These sections are situated in the Te Miro Settlement, about seven miles north-eastward from Cambridge.
Section 32 is hilly to undulating, comprising about 268 acres of felled bush in grass, the balance 60 acres being standing bush.
Section 70 comprises broken spurs and gullies. Portions of the spur-tops and the undulating land along the Waitakaruru basin are ploughable; but at present covered with manuka, fern, and patches of light bush.
IMPROVEMENTS.
The following improvements are included in the capital value: 26 chains boundary fence, four wires (half share); 135 chains internal fence; value, £29 12s.
