Notice of Intention to take Land in Block IX, Mapara Survey District, Waitomo County, for the Purposes of a Road.


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block IX, Mapara Survey District, Waitomo County, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Porootarao, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 10 acres 1 rood 15·5 perches.

Being portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua Block 681 2B 6B, Block IX, Mapara Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Notice of Intention to take Additional Land in the Borough of Devonport for the Purposes of a Post-office.


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a post-office.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the additional land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Devonport, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 1 rood 39·3 perches.

Being Lots 5c and 5d of Allotment 20 of Section 2, Takapuna Parish (Borough of Devonport).

Situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District. (S.O. 20699.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48076, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Sale of Unclaimed Property.

IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the police at the various police-stations will, if not claimed before Wednesday, the 31st March, 1920, be sold thereafter by public auction.
