Declaring a certain Area added to the Waimate West County
to be included in certain Ridings of such County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twentieth day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine-
teen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth
day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty,
the boundaries of the Waimate West and Egmont Counties
were altered by the inclusion in Waimate West County of
a part of the Egmont County: And whereas it is desirable
that the area so added to the Waimate West County should
be included in the Kaupokonui and Waimate Ridings of that
county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred
upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908,
do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the
Waimate West County shall, as on and from the second day
of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, be included
in the Kaupokonui and Waimate Ridings of the said county,
and that the boundaries of those ridings shall be those set
forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF KAUPOKONUI RIDING, WAIMATE WEST
COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards
the north by the Egmont and Eltham Counties, towards the
east by the Eltham and Hawera Counties, towards the south
by the boundary between the Survey Districts of Kaupokonui
and Opunake on the north and Waimate and Oeo on the
south, and towards the west by the Egmont County.
BOUNDARIES OF WAIMATE RIDING, WAIMATE WEST COUNTY.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded to-
wards the north by the Kaupokonui Riding hereinbefore
described, towards the east by the Hawera County, towards
the south by the sea, and towards the west by the Egmont
County.

Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross
of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order,
Knight of Justice of the Order of Saint John of
Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-
in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion
of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and
issued under the Seal of the said Dominion,
at the Government House at Wellington, this
twenty-fourth day of February, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in
the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and
the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal
by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special
tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act
