WELLINGTON REGIMENT.

Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) D. Kettle, M.C., relinquishes the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on ceasing to hold the appointment of A.P.M., N.Z.E.F. Dated 12th September, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Major) W. R. Tuck will relinquish the temporary rank of Major on ceasing to hold the appointment of Assistant Director of Education, N.Z.E.F. (U.K.), but will retain the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 20th November, 1919.

The undermentioned relinquished the temporary rank of Captain:—

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) P. J. O’Dowd, on ceasing to hold the appointment of Quartermaster, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling. Dated 31st October, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) H. M. Conway, on ceasing to hold the appointment of Adjutant, Wellington Detachment, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, but retains the acting rank of Captain for duty on transport s.s. “Kigoma.” Dated 18th October, 1919.

N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE.

The undermentioned, discharged in England, are struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. :—

2nd Lieutenant J. O. Gough to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 31st October, 1919.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Major W. Bruce, O.B.E., returning to New Zealand for demobilization, relinquishes the appointment of O.C., No. 2 N.Z. General Hospital. Dated 10th October, 1919.

Captain N. H. M. Dalston, M.B.E., to be O.C., No. 2 N.Z. General Hospital, vice Major W. Bruce, O.B.E., returning to New Zealand for demobilization. Dated 10th October, 1919.

Captain (temp. Major) H. C. Tait relinquishes the temporary rank of Major on ceasing to hold the appointment of S.M.O., “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling. Dated 30th October, 1919.

N.Z. ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS.

Captain H. H. Whyte, M.C., to be Acting Assistant Director of Ordnance Services, N.Z.E.F., vice Lieutenant-Colonel H. E. Pilkington, C.B.E., R.N.Z.A., returned to New Zealand for demobilization. Dated 30th October, 1919.

William Daniel Evans to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), under the provisions of General Headquarters Instructions No. 28, of 14th July, 1919. Dated 28th January, 1920.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Captain (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) Alexander Wilson Hogg, O.B.E., M.B., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 31st January, 1920.

Major (temp. Colonel) Henry John McLean, C.B.E., M.D., is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 1st February, 1920.

Captain David Storer Wylie, C.M.G., C.B.E., M.B., relinquishes the command of the Trentham Military Hospital, dated 1st January, 1920, and is appointed Consulting Surgeon to the N.Z. Military Forces, and is granted the temporary rank of Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 29th January, 1920.

N.Z. DENTAL CORPS.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) George Kilgour Ingelow Stocker relinquishes his appointment in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training-camps, and the temporary rank of Captain, dated 17th January, 1920, and is demobilized. Dated 14th February, 1920.

N.Z. ARMY NURSING SERVICE.

Staff Nurse Susan Fanny Crompton to be Sister. Dated 5th October, 1919.

Staff Nurse (Masseuse) Eileen Matilda Alice Nelson to be Sister (temp.) whilst acting as an Instructress in Massage. Dated 1st February, 1920.
