depot, by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in Gazette of the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, in pursuance of section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, but a certificate of title has not issued in respect of the said reserve:
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the said land, and the Taranaki County Council has duly consented to such revocation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection two of section three of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend, in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations for the Military Forces of New Zealand made on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen; and I do hereby declare that the amendments hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

APPENDIX IX.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL.
- PARA. 12 is hereby revoked and the following substituted:—
“12. A silver medal, having on one side the Royal Effigy and on the other the words “For Meritorious Service,” shall be issued as a reward for valuable and meritorious service to warrant officers, non-commissioned officers, and men of the New Zealand Permanent Forces, either before or after discharge, subject to the following conditions:—
“(a.) Applicants must have not less than twenty-one years’ service, during which period there must be no entry on the defaulter-sheet after the completion of the second year.
“(b.) For each entry after the second year of service up to five years, an additional five years must be served before a recommendation for the medal is made. No recommendation will be made when an entry occurs after five years’ service has been completed.
“(c.) The conditions of (a) may be relaxed in the case of invalids, who may be recommended for the medal if discharged after eighteen years’ service.
“(d.) The conditions of (b) may be relaxed to the extent of five years when the candidate has rendered such service as, in the opinion of the General Officer Commanding, may be considered of a specially meritorious nature.
“(e.) Service with forces other than the New Zealand Military Forces will not be deemed to be qualifying service for the purpose of this medal.
“(f.) One-fourth of any efficient service rendered in the New Zealand Volunteer or Territorial Forces will be admitted as qualifying service for this medal.”
MEDAL FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT.
- Para. 14 (1) is hereby revoked and the following substituted:—
“14. (1.) A silver medal shall be awarded to warrant officers, non-commissioned officers, and men of the New Zealand Permanent Forces who have served for eighteen years with an irreproachable character, subject to the following conditions:—
“(a.) Subparagraphs (2), (5), and (6) are hereby amended by inserting the letters ‘W.O.’ immediately before the letters ‘N.C.O.’ wherever such appear.
“(b.) After subparagraph (7) add the following:—
“‘(8.) Service with forces other than the New Zealand Military Forces will not be deemed to be qualifying service for the purpose of this medal.
“‘(9.) One-fourth of any efficient service rendered in the New Zealand Volunteer or Territorial Forces will be admitted as qualifying service for this medal.’”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, in the presence of—

Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke certain regulations made under that Act and shown in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect as from the dates shown in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION 84 is revoked from 1st January, 1920. Regulation 105 is revoked from 18th December, 1919.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Local Railways Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JAMES GLADWIN WYNYARD, Esquire,
of Te Awamutu, to be Returning Officer for the first election of members of the Te Awamutu-Putaruru Railway Board.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Determining the Number of Members of the Te Awamutu-Putaruru Railway Board, and fixing the Date for the First General Election of Members.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by sections four and thirteen of the Local Railways Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby determine that the Te Awamutu-Putaruru Railway Board shall consist of seven members; and I do also fix Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as the date on which the first general election of members of the said Board shall be held.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.
