Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee and mortgagee of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waitomo County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 2 roods 18'6 perches.
Portion of Section 6; coloured on plan red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Road CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 1 rood 2 perches.
Adjoining Section 6 and Rangitoto A No. 43B. Block; coloured on plan green.
All situated in Block XIV, Mangaorongo Survey District.
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and

S. 16/722, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned. (Auckland plan No. 20534.)

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Taranaki Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-four of the Land Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General in Council may by Proclamation resume possession of any land leased under Part IV of the said Act, or under any corresponding Part of the Land Act, 1892, which in his opinion is required for any public purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is held on small grazing-run lease from His Majesty the King, issued under Part V of the Land Act, 1892, dated the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two:
