And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waitomo County Council Piopio Township Special Loan of £250, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing certain improvements within the Piopio Township Special Rating Area—viz., concrete kerbing, channelling, also metalling certain streets and footpaths—the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Piopio Township Special Rating Area, comprising the whole of Kaingapipi No. 2, parts of Kaingapipi No. 5, No. 6A, No. 6b, No. 9, and No. 11 (area 248 acres 2 roods 16 perches), Kinohaku East 4b No. 1, 4b No. 3, and 4b No. 3A (area 210 acres 0 roods 24 perches); the whole of Kinohaku East 5b No. 1, the whole of subdivisions of Kinohaku East 5b No. 2, the whole of the subdivisions of Kinohaku East 5b Section 3A, the whole of the subdivisions of Kinohaku East 5b 3b, Kinohaku East 4c part, the whole of Kinohaku East 5e, all within a mile radius of Piopio Township. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following objects,—

The purchase of road-making machinery, plant, and tools £ 8,000
Erection of buildings for accommodating plant 1,000


                    £9,000

the said Manukau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12th of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the said county; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is paid off.

EAST TAMAKI ROAD BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and its amendments, the East Tamaki Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the East Tamaki Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for—

Purchase for recreation purposes of an area of 11 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being Lots 10, 11, and part 9 of subdivision of Allotments 50 and others, East Tamaki Farms £ 1,450
Laying out and improving such property and incidental expenses 150


                    £1,600

the said East Tamaki Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the East Tamaki Road District, comprising the whole of the East Tamaki Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
