part Section 20, Block 8, Mangahao Survey District, for the use of its Electrical Engineer, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Pahiatua, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

In the matter of BERTIE JOHN YOUNG, for the changing of name.
I, BERTIE JOHN GELL, of Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Clerk, do hereby give public notice that on the 13th day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my surname of Young, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the surname of Gell instead of the surname of Young; and I give further notice that by deed-poll dated the 13th day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland on the 17th day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the said surname of Young, and declared that I had assumed and adopted and thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever intended to use and subscribe the name of Gell instead of Young, and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the surname of GELL exclusively.

I, DOROTHY MAY COULTER, heretofore called and known by the name of Dorothy May Stephens, of Dunedin, Spinster, hereby give public notice that on the fourteenth day of December, 1920, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said name of Dorothy May Stephens, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Dorothy May Coulter instead of the said name of Dorothy May Stephens; and I give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the fourteenth day of December, 1920, duly executed and attested and filed in the Supreme Court Office at Dunedin aforesaid on the fifteenth day of December, 1920, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said name of Dorothy May Stephens, and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Dorothy May Coulter instead of Dorothy May Stephens, and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of DOROTHY MAY COULTER exclusively.
