And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein :
And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council should issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, provided that the rate of interest at which the loans or any of them are to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-quarter pounds per centum per annum ; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loans hereby authorized.

Declaring Portion of Mangatupoto Block Access Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifteenth day of December, 1919.

THE HONOURABLE SIR WILLIAM FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, known as Mangatupoto Block Access Road, commencing at its junction with the Ohura Road and continuing thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Section part 77E 3c, Block IX, Tangitu Survey District, and terminating near the southern corner of Section 6, Block IX, Tangitu Survey District ; being a distance of nine chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47504, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, commencing at its junction with the main Napier-Wairoa Road at the north-east corner of Section 1, Block V, Moeangiangi Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and then south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 1 and part Section 5, Block I, Moeangiangi Survey District, and terminating at a point on the northern boundary of said Section 5, Block I, Moeangiangi Survey District ; being a distance of three miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47461, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A B.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Patea County, known as the Mataimoana Road, commencing at a point about eight chains east of the south-western corner of Section 7, Block V, Kapara Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 7, Section 5, and part of Sections 8 and 4, Block V, Kapara Survey District, and terminating at a point thirty-five chains north-east of the south-western corner of the said Section 8 ; being a distance of 1 mile 50 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47505, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
