District Lands and Survey Office,
Nelson, 19th December, 1919.
PURSUANT to section 41 of the Land Act, 1908, and the
regulations made thereunder, I, Henry Dugald McKellar,
Returning Officer for the election of a member to the Nelson
Land Board, do hereby notify the result of the poll taken
on the 18th day of December, 1919, for the election of a
member to the Nelson Land Board to be as follows:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners appointed
to classify and report upon the lands in Otago Land
District have classified the pastoral runs in the Schedule
hereto as therein noted, and the classification has been ap-
proved by His Excellency the Governor-General, under sec-
tion 225 of the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
Class B.—Pastoral-Agricultural Land.
Being Lands adapted in Part for Pasturage and in Part
for Agricultural Purposes, but suitable for Subdivision
in Areas not exceeding 5,000 Acres.
CROWN LAND.
Run 51c, Tuapeka County: Area, 1,400 acres.
Runs 6, 7, 9/11 (III), and 3, 4, 6, (VI), Taieri County:
Area, 1,943 acres.
Runs 20, 21 (VI), Waihemo County: Area, 335 acres.

Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the education reserve de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto will be offered for lease
by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, at 12 o'clock noon on Thursday, 5th February,
1920, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act,
1908, and amendments, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act,
1908.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Waikato County.—Cambridge East Town.
SECTION 5: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 19 perches; upset annual
rent, 10s.
Undulating land, covered with noxious weeds, mostly
gorse; sandy soil. Sufficient level ground for building
purposes.
ABSTRACT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.
- Term of lease, twenty-one years, with perpetual right of
renewal for the same term at a rent to be determined by
revaluation in accordance with the provisions of the First
Schedule of the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908. - Rents payable half-yearly, in advance, to the Receiver
of Land Revenue, Auckland; the first half-yearly payment,
with lease fee (£2 2s.), to be made on the fall of the hammer. - No lease to be assigned, underlet, or the possession
thereof parted with except with the consent of the Land
Board. - All rates, taxes, charges, and assessments whatsoever
to be paid by the lessee. - The leases shall be prepared generally in accordance
with the provisions of the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908. - Interest at the rate of 10 per cent. per annum to be
paid on rent in arrear. - Consent of the Land Board to be obtained before sub-
dividing, erecting any buildings, or effecting other improve-
ments. - Lease is liable to forfeiture if conditions violated.
Education reserves are included in the classes of land on
which, with the approval of the Advances Board, money
may be advanced by the State Advances Office.
The reserve is described for the general information of
intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to
make a personal inspection, as the Department is not respon-
sible for the absolute accuracy of any description.
Possession will be given on day of sale.
Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained
at this office.
