Consenting to stopping a Road in Block XIV, Waingaromia
Survey District, Waikohu County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second
day of July, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a)
of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a
local authority shall not declare any county road or district
road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-
General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Waikohu County Council has applied for
such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule
hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waikohu
County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped: 1 acre 0 roods 12 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Waihora 2c, Block XIV, Wai-
garomia Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46237,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Sheldon Park
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second
day of July, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from
time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint
such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a
Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act,
control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eleventh
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirteenth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain
Board was appointed to control the Sheldon Park Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the tenth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

ALEXANDER BROWN,
WILLIAM ROBERT GUTHRIE,
EDWARD HARRIS,
ARTHUR PHELPS HOPKINS,
ARTHUR PHILIP ALAN NICHOLLS,
WILLIAM PRICHARD SPENCER, and
HENRY ERNEST JOHN WOTTON,

as from the eleventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and nineteen, to be the Sheldon Park Domain Board, having
control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act;
and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-first day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at eight o’clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Belfast, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
SHELDON PARK DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 8 acres, more or less, being Reserve
No. 3881, situated in Blocks III and VII, Christchurch
Survey District. Commencing at a point on the eastern
side of the North Road distant 1850 links south-west from the
north-west corner of Section 243A, and bounded towards the
north-east, south-east, and south-west by Section 243A,
1230·8, 650, and 1230·8 links respectively; and towards the
north-west by North Road, 650 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 1/462, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
