Lieutenant-Colonel C. H. Tewsley, C.M.G., on the reorganization of the N.Z. Convalescent Hospital as a Demobilization Group, relinquishes the appointment of O.C., N.Z. Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch. Dated 8th April, 1919.

Lieutenant A. E. C. H. E. Boeufve, transferred to the British Army, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 20th November, 1918.

N.Z. FIELD ARTILLERY.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) L. J. Ivory relinquishes the appointment of Secretary to the Director of Education, N.Z.E.F., and the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 23rd April, 1919.

Lieutenant C. H. Nelson to be Secretary to the Director of Education, N.Z.E.F., vice Lieutenant L. J. Ivory relinquished the appointment, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 23rd April, 1919.

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40, of 3rd April, 1919, relating to 2nd Lieutenant H. E. Wright, is cancelled, and the following substituted :—

2nd Lieutenant H. E. Wright is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst performing the duties of Second in Command of a battery, to date 22nd January, 1919, and relinquishes the temporary rank on proceeding to England. Dated 2nd February, 1919.

AUCKLAND REGIMENT.

Lieutenant H. V. Searle, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 11th February, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant E. G. Harper is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst employed as a Grade I Instructor under the N.Z.E.F. Education Scheme. Dated 19th February, 1919.

CANTERBURY REGIMENT.

Lieutenant-Colonel A. D. Stitt, D.S.O., M.C., to be Second in Command, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, vice Lieutenant-Colonel R. St. J. Beere, Rifle Brigade, relinquished the appointment. Dated 17th April, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant R. Campbell-Thomson to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 30th April, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant A. I. Leyland to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 30th April, 1919.
