mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying the cost and expenses of the electric reticulation of the Borough of Kaiapoi for the supply of electric current for the use and benefit of the inhabitants thereof, the Kaiapoi Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sevenpence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Kaiapoi; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Kaiapoi was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Kaiapoi Borough Council, in the presence of—

WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty pounds (£150), authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for re-formation and metalling the Putikituna Road, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Putikituna Road Special Rating Area, comprising Sections 15, 16, 17, Block XV, and Section 4, Block XIV, Pouatu Survey District; Sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, Block III, and Sections 8 and 9, Block II, Mahoe Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250), authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for building a bridge over the Mangaehu Stream near the junction of the Mangaehu Road and the Mangarewa Road, in the County of Whangamomona, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and seven-eighths pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangaehu Road No. 111 Loan Special Rating Area, comprising Sections 1c, 1b, 17, and 18, Block XVI, Ngatimaru Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
