THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
[No. 72

by the Waipa County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling roads in the Hamilton Riding for the first time, the said Waipa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Hamilton Riding of the Waipa County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Waipa County Council held at Ohaupo on the 8th day of April, 1919.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

FITZHERBERT RIDING.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on the loan of £1,000 in respect of the Fitzherbert Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, for the purpose of renewing the culverts and bridges in the said riding in the county, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/33rd of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by a properly constituted meeting of the Kairanga County Council held on Monday, the 2nd day of June, 1919.

TAONUI RIDING.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 in respect of the Taonui Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, for the purpose of renewing the culverts and bridges in the said riding in the county, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/70th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by a properly constituted meeting of the Kairanga County Council held on Monday, the 2nd day of June, 1919.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 in respect of the Mangaone Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, for the purpose of renewing the culverts and bridges in the said riding in the county, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/42nd of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

COPY OF RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE OVER THE AWAITI SPECIAL RATING AREA.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the amendments thereof and the regulations thereunder, the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby resolve as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of the principal and interest and other charges on a loan of three hundred and twenty-five pounds, authorized to be raised by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling for the first time 44 chains of the Netherton—Awaiiti access road, being that portion between the schoolhouse and the Government sections, the said Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby make and levy a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound (1/8th) upon the capital value of all the rateable property in the Awaiiti Special Rating Area as follows:—

All that area of land situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Waihou Survey District, bounded as follows,—

Commencing at the most northerly corner of Section 9, Block XII, Waihou S.D., by the north-western boundary of Section 9 in a south-west and southerly direction to a point on the west boundary of the said Section 9, 135·6 links south of the most southerly corner of Ahipukahu No. 2 Block; thence by a straight line running in a south-easterly direction, bearing 125° 37′ for a distance of 1085 links; thence by lines running due east 1268 links, due south 4382 links, due east 754 links, and due south 4178 links to a point on the north boundary of the Pukahu Road; thence by a straight line running in a south-westerly direction to the north-east corner of Lot 1, Section 1, Block XV, Waihou S.D.; thence by the east boundary of Lot 1 running in a southerly direction, and a prolongation of the same to a point at the intersection of the above prolongation with that of the south boundary of Te Awaiiti No. 1A; thence by the prolongation of and part of the south boundary of Te Awaiiti No. 1A running in a westerly direction to the centre of the Awaiiti Stream; thence by the centre of the Awaiiti Stream in a general north and north-westerly direction to its intersection with the south-east boundary of Awaiiti 1D No. 2; thence by part of the south-east boundary of the said block, part of the south-west boundary of Section 29, Block XI, Waihou S.D., and north-west boundaries of Sections 29, 28, 27, 26, and 25, Block XI, Waihou S.D., running in a north-easterly, north-westerly, and north-easterly direction to the north-east corner of the said Section 25; thence by the north boundary of Section 34 and part of the north boundary of Section 12, Block XI, Waihou S.D., running in an easterly direction to the south-west corner of the south part of Section 7, Block XI, Waihou S.D.; thence by the west boundary of the said south part of Section 7 in a northerly direction, and by the north boundary of the said section in an easterly direction, to the north-east corner of the said south portion of Section 7; thence by a straight line running in an easterly direction to the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
