A T an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company held on 22nd March, 1919, and at a subsequent meeting duly convened and held on 5th April, 1919, the following special resolution was passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily as from 1st June, 1919; and that Mr. G. W. SELLAR, of Masterton, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL ANNUAL-RECURRING RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500 (three thousand five hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for drainage, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. (twopence) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of May and November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Onehunga was affixed to this resolution at a meeting of and by order of the Onehunga Borough Council on the 2nd day of June, 1919, in the presence of—

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District and Otahuhu Survey District, being part of Allotment 13, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and part of Section 34 of the Town of Onehunga, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of Mount Smart Road in line with the south-eastern side of Campbell Road; thence across Campbell Road to the southernmost corner of Lot 9, Hospital Reserve, being part of Allotment 13, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and along the eastern side of Manukau Road to the north-western corner of Lot 1 of the said hospital reserve; thence along the northern boundaries of Lots 1, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 42; thence along the eastern boundary of Lot 42 to Turama Road; thence across Turama Road and along the western boundary of Tiwai Road to and across Campbell Road; thence along the southern boundary of Campbell Road in an easterly direction to its intersection with Queen Street; thence along the western boundary of Queen Street to its intersection with Clarke’s Road; thence along the southern boundary of Clarke’s Road to a point formed by the dividing-line between the eastern and western portions of Allotment 13 of Section 34 to where it intersects the said Clarke’s Road; thence along the aforesaid dividing-line to a point in the northern boundary of Allotment 7 of Section 34; thence along the northern boundaries of Allotments 7 and 8 of Section 34 to a point formed by the intersection of the western boundary of Allotment 9, Section 34, with the northern boundary of Allotment 8 of Section 34; thence from the said point along the western boundary of the said Allotment 9 of Section 34 to its intersection with Mount Smart Road; thence by and along Mount Smart Road to the point of commencement.

MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD DISTRICT.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mount Roskill Road Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of interest and sinking fund and also the other charges on a loan of £18,000 (eighteen thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Mount Roskill Road District, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purposes of—
(a.) Constructing in concrete all that portion of the carriageway on Manukau Road under the control of the Mount Roskill Road Board from opposite the Auckland Electric Tramway Company’s repair workshops to the Seddon Memorial, being approximately 40 chains on the western side and 30 chains on the eastern side, the eastern side terminating at the boundary-line of the Onehunga Borough Council, about 10½ chains from the Seddon Memorial; kerbing and constructing footpaths on Manukau Road adjacent to the section laid down in concrete, providing for storm-water drainage, and for any other necessary requirements :
(b.) Constructing a 21 ft. carriage-way with a “ blue metal ” formation of 16 ft. on all that portion of Mount Albert Road, commencing at the Seddon Memorial, adjoining the boundary of Onehunga Borough Council, and ending at that point where the control of the Mount Roskill Road Board does cease, being adjoining boundary-line with the Mount Albert Borough Council; kerbing and channelling that portion of the road known as the “ School Hill ” :
(c.) Constructing in “ blue metal ” that portion of the carriageway on Dominion Road which has not previously been executed :
(d.) Constructing in “ blue metal ” the carriageway (of a reasonable width) of the whole of Mary Road from its intersection with Mount Albert Road to its intersection with Richardson Road :
the said Mount Roskill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/8ths (three-eighths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the Mount Roskill Road District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL.
STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
T HE following resolution making and levying a special rate was passed by the Thames County Council at a meeting held on Wednesday, the 2nd day of April, 1919 :—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Thames County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500), authorized to be raised under the above-mentioned Act, and in pursuance of a Governor’s Warrant under section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Thames County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound (1/16 of 1d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Thames County (on the basis of the unimproved value); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Thames was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Thames County Council, in the presence of—
