N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE.

Major A. H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilization, relinquishes the appointment of Second in Command, N.Z.R.B. Reserve Depot. Dated 4th March, 1919.

Major M. H. R. Jones, M.C., to be Second in Command, N.Z.R.B. Reserve Depot, vice Major A. H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilization. Dated 4th March, 1919.

Lieutenant F. W. Parry to be Quartermaster, N.Z.R.B. Reserve Depot, vice Captain H. Eastgate, M.B.E., relinquished the appointment, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 4th February, 1919.

The undermentioned to be Lieutenants, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 28th February, 1919:—

Lieutenant H. A. Ellingham, M.C., Company Commander, N.Z.R.B. Reserve Depot, is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 1st January, 1919.

N.Z. MACHINE-GUN CORPS.

Mounted Section.

The undermentioned to be 2nd Lieutenants, supernumerary to Establishment:—
7/330, Lance-Corporal J. T. Ford. Dated 27th December, 1918.
13/1102, Sergeant J. M. M. Thomson. Dated 1st March, 1919.

Lieutenant W. Cobb, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Captain, vice Captain T. McCarroll, to date 28th January, 1919, and relinquishes the temporary rank on Captain T. McCarroll rejoining the squadron. Dated 13th February, 1919.

Infantry Section.

Major W. I. K. Jennings, D.S.O., N.Z.S.C., owing to reorganization due to demobilization, relinquishes the appointment of Brigade Major, 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade. Dated 1st March, 1919.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) E. A. P. Cockroft relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain on ceasing to perform the duties of Quartermaster, Reserve Company. Dated 22nd January, 1919.

N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.

Major L. G. D. Acland, M.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilization, relinquishes the appointment of D.A.A.G., N.Z.E.F. Dated 18th February, 1919.

5/717, Lance-Corporal T. J. O’Reilly to be 2nd Lieutenant, supernumerary to Establishment. Dated 26th November, 1918.

Captain H. Richards, O.B.E., relinquishes the appointment of O.C., Mechanical Transport Depot (U.K.). Dated 14th March, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) N. Bell, from Assistant Director of Education (Disabled Soldiers), to be O.C., Mechanical Transport Depot (U.K.), vice Captain H. Richards, O.B.E., relinquished the appointment, and retains the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 14th March, 1919.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Major J. C. Simpson, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 14th March, 1919.

The undermentioned have been appointed N.Z.E.F. Medical Research Committee. Dated 1st March, 1919:—

N.Z. DENTAL CORPS.

Captain R. I. Sutton relinquishes the appointment of Senior Dental Officer, N.Z.E.F., in Egypt. Dated 1st February, 1919.

Major W. R. Hursthouse to be Senior Dental Officer, N.Z.E.F., in Egypt, vice Captain R. I. Sutton, relinquished the appointment. Dated 1st February, 1919.
