Lieutenant A. G. Wainscott, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst holding the appointment of Second in Command of a signal squadron, A. and N.Z. Mounted Division, vice Captain (temp. Major) R. F. Smith, M.C., A.I.F., appointed to command the squadron. Dated 15th January, 1919.

With reference to the notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 3, of 16th January, 1919, relating to Lieutenant F. R. Baker, for the words “Dated 20th September, 1918,” read “Dated 21st September, 1918.”

The notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51, of 24th April, 1919, relating to Lieutenant (temp. Captain) G. A. Tuck, M.C., is cancelled, and the following substituted :—

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. R. Lascelles, returning to New Zealand for demobilization, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, Canterbury Detachment, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, but retains the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 22nd January, 1919.
Captain H. M. Foster to be Adjutant, Canterbury Detachment, “A” Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, vice Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. R. Lascelles, returning to New Zealand for demobilization. Dated 22nd January, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) R. N. Gray, M.C., M.M., relinquishes the appointment of O.C. Instructors’ School, Hornchurch, under the N.Z.E.F. Education Department, and the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 31st January, 1919.
Lieutenant H. Henderson to be O.C. Instructors’ School, Hornchurch, under the N.Z.E.F. Education Department, vice Lieutenant R. N. Gray, M.C., M.M., relinquished the appointment, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 31st January, 1919.
