Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VI,
Maungataniwha Survey District, Mongonui County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the pur-
poses of a road in Block VI, Maungataniwha Survey Dis-
trict, Mongonui County:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been
observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day
of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P.
0 0 1, portion of Section S.E. 23; coloured red.
0 2 0 " N.W. 31 " blue.
Situated in Maungataniwha East Parish, Block VI, Mau-
gataniwha Survey District. (S.O. 18566.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45535,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross

in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion
of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day
of June, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a)
of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a
local authority shall not declare any county road or district
road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-
General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Waitemata County Council has applied
for such consent in respect of the road described in the
Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waitemata
County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule
hereto.

Situated in Waikomiti Parish, Block V, Titirangi Survey

more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
45917, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of the Kohuratahi Road, in the Whanga-
momona County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day
of June, 1919.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Kohuratahi Road, situated in the
Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing
about eighteen chains north-east of Tangarakau Suspension
Bridge, and running in a north-easterly direction between
Sections 1 and 4, and passing through Section 1, and terminating
at the boundary of Section 2, all in Block XVI, Pouatu Survey
District; being a distance of 1 mile 70 chains, more or less.
As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 46141, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.
