Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Block V,
Tuhua Survey District, Auckland Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, under the authority of section 14 of the Land Act,
1908, that the road described in the Schedule here to was,
on the 28th day of October, 1918, duly taken and laid off
through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the
authority of the Governor-General of the said Dominion,
by Warrant dated the 27th day of September, 1918.

SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of the piece of land taken for a road:
4 acres 0 roods 31 perches.
Portion of Section 3, Block V, Tuhua Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5/24,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

WANGANUI HARBOUR BOARD.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan.
Notice is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers of
the Wanganui Harbour District taken in accordance with
section 8 of the Wanganui Harbour District and Empowering
Act, 1913, on the 30th day of April, 1919, on the proposal
of the Wanganui Harbour Board to raise a loan of £150,000
to be called the Wanganui Harbour Board Port Further
Development Loan of £150,000, the following votes were
given: For the proposal, 1,373; against the proposal, 228;
informal, 56.
I therefore declare such proposal to be carried.

Prohibition of Importation of Dogs from Great Britain.—
Notice No. 1963.

It is hereby notified for public information that, owing
to the severe outbreaks of rabies in England and Wales,
the importation of dogs from Great Britain is prohibited
until further notice.

Petroleum Products.

Tenders will be received at the office of the Chairman,
General Post Office, Wellington, not later than 4 p.m.
on Wednesday, the 18th June, 1919, for the supply and
delivery of motor spirit, benzine, benzoic acid, distillate, kero-
sene, and motor greases at Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin,
Wellington, Gisborne, Wanganui, Napier, Stratford, New
Plymouth, Nelson, Greymouth, and Invercargill.
Particulars may be obtained on application at the office of
the Secretary, Public Service Stores Tender Board, Wellington.
The invitation dated 5th May, 1919, to tender for items
1082 to 1091B is cancelled.
