Additional Land at Remuera taken for the Purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato
Railway to take further land at Remuera, in addition to land
previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-
eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1Β·3 perches.
Portion of Allotment 7, Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland,
Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, City of Auckland.
(S O. 20368, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 26227,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
ington, and thereon coloured blue.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public workβ€”to wit, for the pur-
poses of a post-office in Block VIII. Tokomaru Survey
District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been ob-
served and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and autho-
rities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a post-office; and I do also hereby declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-
first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods.
Being Sections 1 and 2, Block II, Tuatini Native Township,
situated in Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45620,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.

Stopping a Government Road in Block IV, Grey Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred
and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it
is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation
publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government
road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Sche-
dule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-
recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped:
1 acre 1 rood 1 perch.
Adjoining or passing through Section 32830, Block IV, Grey
Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45752,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
