Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block XVI,
Otamatea Survey District, Rodney County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with
the consents of the owner of the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the Rodney County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said land is
situated, proclaim as a road the land in Otamatea Survey
District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also
do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as
closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
3 acres 3 roods 28·3 perches.
Portion of Section 1; coloured red,
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 1 rood
6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 1; coloured green.
All situated in Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District
(Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 20122.)
All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
44749, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross

in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion

Land taken for the Purposes of the Public Works Shops and
Store Site, Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes
of the Public Works shops and store site, Auckland:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms
of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land
for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Pro-
clamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of
the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the said Public Works shops and store
site; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of May,
one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood
37·75 perches.
Lots 23 to 28, Block IX, being portion of Freeman’s Bay
Reclamation, Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District.

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45834,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for the purpose of a stop-bank in Block XII,
Waihou Survey District:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Waihou and Ohinemuri
Rivers Improvement Act, 1910, and the Public Works Act,
1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that from and after the twenty-fourth day of May, one thou-
sand nine hundred and nineteen, the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the said
stop-bank.
