  1. The licensee shall keep the land included in this license
    free from noxious weeds.
  2. The licensee shall not assign, charge, or part with any
    right, power, or privilege granted by this license without the
    previous written consent of the Minister of Marine.
  3. The rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this
    Order in Council shall continue in force for ten years from the
    date hereof, unless in the meantime such rights, powers, and
    privileges shall be altered, modified, or revoked by competent
    authority.
  4. Should the said land or any portion of it at any time
    during the currency of this license be required for public
    purposes the Minister may, by notice served upon the licensee
    or posted to his last known address, resume possession of the
    land or any portion of it so required upon his giving six
    months’ notice of his intention to do so.
  5. If the licensee commits or suffers a breach of any of the
    conditions of this license, the license may be revoked and
    determined by the Governor-General in Council; and pub-
    lication of a notice of such revocation in the New Zealand
    Gazette
    shall be sufficient notice thereof to the licensee, and
    to all persons concerned or interested in this license, that it
    has been revoked and determined.

Revoking Order in Council licensing Stephen Brown to use and
occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water
Mark at Whangaroa.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1919.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the second day
of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the
ninth day of the same month, His Excellency the Governor
in Council did, inter alia, in pursuance of the provisions of
the Harbours Act, 1908, license Stephen Brown, of Whangaroa,
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-
water mark at Whangaroa for the purpose of constructing and
maintaining thereon a boat-shed in the position shown as
number twenty-one on and in accordance with plan marked
M.D. 2294, and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington, and upon and subject to the terms and
conditions therein set forth :

And whereas the said Stephen Brown desires that the
said license shall be revoked :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that behalf,
doth hereby revoke and determine the said-recited Order in
Council of the second day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven, and the rights and privileges thereby
conferred, so far as it relates to the said Stephen Brown, but
not further or otherwise.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in Block XI, Wester-
field Survey District, Canterbury Land District, for other
Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1919.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the First Schedule
was heretofore duly set apart as a reserve for a
gravel-pit: And whereas it is expedient that the said land
should be exchanged for the lands described in the Second
Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal
value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section twelve of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the land described in
the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the lands
described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 1604,
situated in Block XI, Westerfield Survey District, bounded
as follows: Towards the north by Lot 2, D.P. 3821, 1000
links; towards the east by Lagmhor Road, 500 links; and
towards the south and west by Lot 2, D.P. 3821, 1000 links
and 500 links. As the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 22/2319, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 17 perches, more or less,
being Lot 23 on deposited plan No. 3821, and being part of
Rural Section 17300, situated in Block XI, Westerfield Survey
District, bounded as follows: Towards the north by Lot 4,
D.P. 3821, 500·8 links; towards the east by Lagmhor Road,
395·3 links; and towards the south and west by Lot 1, D.P.
4650, 498·9 and 350 links respectively.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 6 perches, more or
less, being Lot 1 on deposited plan No. 4650, and being part
of Rural Section 17300, situated in Block XI, Westerfield
Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north and
east generally by Lot 4, D.P. 3821, 25·1 links, by Lot 23,
D.P. 3821, 350 and 498·9 links, and by Lagmhor Road, 230
links; towards the south and west by Lot 1, D.P. 4900,
523·9 and 577·9 links respectively.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 17 perches, more
or less, being Lot 1 on deposited plan 4900, and being part
of Rural Section 17300, situated in Block XI, Westerfield
Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north and
east generally by Lot 4, D.P. 3821, 126·3 links, and by Lot 1,
D.P. 4650, 577·9 and 523·9 links, and by Lagmhor Road,
174·5 links; towards the south by Lot 2, D.P. 4900, 650
links; and towards the west by Lot 2, D.P. 3821, 741·9 links.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. 22/2319A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured
yellow, blue, and green respectively.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1919.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a)
of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a
local authority shall not declare any county road or district
road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-
General, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained :

And whereas the Wairoa County Council has applied for
such consent in respect of the roads described in the Schedule
hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairoa County
Council stopping the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

stopped :—
