ern boundaries of Sections 2415, a road, Sections 2414, 2413,
and the northern boundary of Section 2413 and a road to
Ngahere-Blackball Railway, and by said railway to Section
3, Block II, Mawheranui Survey District ; thence by southern
and western boundaries of said Section 3, and western bound-
ary of Section 1 to the most easterly point of the area first
described in section 74 of the Reserves and other Lands
Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1912 ; thence
bounded towards the north-west by the said area to the
western boundary of Block II, Mawheranui Survey District ;
thence due south by block boundaries to a point in line
with the northern boundary of Section 2391, and thence to
the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on
sheet 56, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

All that area in Blocks I, V, VI, IX, X, and XIII, Ma-
wheraiti Survey District, and Block XII, Waiwhero Survey
District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1594,
containing by admeasurement 20,325 acres, more or less.
Commencing at a point 64 chains due east of the north-western
corner of Block I, Mawheraiti Survey District; thence due
east to the western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Maimai
Survey District ; thence by western and southern boundaries of
the said Section 1 and southern boundary produced to the right
bank of the Rough River ; thence by said bank to a point in
line with the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block I,
Mawheraiti Survey District ; thence to and by southern and
western boundaries of the said Section 1, and by Sections 2 and
3, Block VI, of the said survey district, to the right bank of the
said river ; thence by said bank to a point in line with north-
western boundary of Section 3170, Block X, Mawheraiti Sur-
vey District ; thence to and by north-western boundaries of
Sections 3170, 25, 24, 23, 22, and 180 of the said Block X, by
Section 257, a road reserve, again by Sections 257 and 3;
thence by a right line to the most northerly corner of Section
17; thence by the north-western boundaries of Sections 17,
16, 15, Block IX, in the said survey district ; thence by a road
reserve, Sections 14 and 13, Block XIII, said survey district ;
thence by a right line to the most northerly point of Re-
serve 761 of the said block ; thence by the north-western bound-
ary of Reserve 761, a road reserve, Sections 2554, 205, 206,
and 208 of the last-mentioned block to the easternmost corner
of Section 15, Block XVI, Waiwhero Survey District ; thence
by the north-eastern boundary of said Section 15 to and by the
eastern boundary of that block and the southern boundary of
Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District, to the north-eastern
boundary of Section 17, Block XVI aforesaid ; thence by that
boundary, a road, by Sections 16, 14, 13, 3121, 3167, 3300 of the
said Block XII ; thence by Section 3296, Block VIII, Waiwhero
Survey District, by Sections 3340 and 2991, Block V, Ma-
whera-iti Survey District, to the western boundary of the said
Block V ; thence by the western boundary of said Block V to
its north-western corner; thence due east for a distance of
14200 links ; and thence by a right line to the point of com-
mencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 62, roll
plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington.

Save and excepting Section 2762, Block IX, Mawhera-iti
Survey District, which is within the above-described bound-
aries.

All that area in Blocks XII, XV, and XVI, in Waiwhero
Survey District, Westland Land District, containing by ad-
measurement 6,235 acres, more or less, being Reserve 1593.
Commencing at the north-western corner of Block XII, Wai-
whero Survey District : bounded by the western boundary of
said Block XII and by the western boundary of Block XVI,
Waiwhero Survey District, for 32800 links ; thence by a right
line due west to Moonlight Creek ; thence by the left bank
of Moonlight Creek to the southern boundary of Block XV;
thence by the said south boundary to a road reserve along
the western boundary of Section 3144 ; thence by said road
reserve to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Section 3144; thence across Baxter’s Creek, again by road
reserve, and by the northern boundary of Section 3144 to the
western boundary of Section 3119; thence by the western
boundaries of said Section 3119 and Section 3120 to the
north-western corner of Section 3120; thence along the
northern boundary of the said Section 3120 produced to the
right bank of Caledonian Creek ; thence along Caledonian
Creek to its junction with Shellback Creek, following that
Creek until it crosses the western boundary of Section 3139 ;
thence along the western and northern boundaries of Sec-
tion 3139 to the south-western corner of Section 13 ; thence
along the western and northern boundaries of Section 13 to
the south-western corner of Section 10; thence by the western
boundary of Section 10 to the southern boundary of Sec-
tion 11 ; thence by the southern and western boundaries of
Section 11 and the western and northern boundaries of
Section 12 by road reserve across Slatey Creek, and again
by road reserve to the western boundary of Section 15 ;
thence by the western boundary of Section 15 and the western
and northerly boundaries of Section 16, the latter produced
to Big River; thence by the right bank of Big River to
the northern boundary of Block XII, Waiwhero Survey Dis-
trict; thence along the said northern block boundary to
point of commencement. As the same is delineated on
sheet 57, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

Save and excepting Sections 3, 4, and 12.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 8,336 acres, more or less. Commencing
at the north-east corner of Section 2595, Block II, Punakaiki
Survey District ; thence due south to the south-eastern corner
of Section 2597, Block II, Waiwhero Survey District ; thence
west generally to the most southerly corner of said Section
2597; thence westerly across the Punakaiki River to the
most easterly point of Tupapaku Road; thence generally
southerly and westerly along the southern side of the said
road to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Sec-
tion 3310, Block I, Waiwhero Survey District; thence by
said Section 3310 and Section 3311 of the said Block I ;
thence across Maher’s Creek and by Section 2799; thence
by the southern boundary of Block I, Waiwhero Survey Dis-
trict; thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of
Block II, Waiwhero Survey District, by the southern boundary
of Block II, Punakaiki Survey District, to the left bank of
the Porarari River ; thence by the said bank of the Porarari
River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Sec-
tion 2595 aforesaid ; thence by a line due south to the point
of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 58,
roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey at Wellington.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

All that land in the Marlborough Land District situated
in Blocks VIII, IX, X, XI, Heringa Survey District, Blocks
I to VII, IX to XI, and XIV, Pine Valley Survey District,
and IX and XIII, Wakamarina Survey District, containing
an area of 46,500 acres, more or less. Commencing on the
Pelorus River at the north-eastern corner : bounded towards
the east generally by Sections 24, 23, 22, and 5, Block IX, and
Section 1, Block XIII, Wakamarina Survey District, and by the
boundaries of the reserve for the growth and preservation
of timber ; towards the south generally by the reserve
for the growth and preservation of timber to the Nelson
Land District; thence towards the south-west and north-
west generally by the said land district to the confluence of
the Heringa River with the Pelorus River ; thence towards
the north generally by the Pelorus River to the point of
commencement. As the said land is shown in red outlines
as No. 1 on sheet 30 of roll plan 450, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

All that area situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Pine Valley
Survey District, containing an area of 3,450 acres, more or
less. Commencing at the northern corner at a point bearing
238° 22' 30" 4690 links from S.T. XIII : bounded to the east
by a right line running due south to the reserve for the growth
and preservation of timber; thence towards the south and
west generally by the said reserve to the point of commence-
ment. As the same is delineated in red outline on the plan
aforesaid and numbered 2.

All that land situated in Blocks XI to XVI and XVIII,
Pine Valley Survey District, Block I, Mount Olympus
Survey District, and Blocks I to IX, Patriarch Survey
District, containing an area of 37,000 acres, more or less.
Commencing at Mount Rintoul, in Block II, Patriarch Survey
District : bounded towards the east by a right line bearing
190°, 8000 links, being the western boundary of the reserve
for the growth and preservation of timber ; thence towards
the north generally by the aforesaid reserve to the north-
western boundary of Small Grazing-run 159, Block XIII,
Pine Valley Survey District ; thence towards the east and
south generally by Small Grazing-runs 159, 126, 125, Sections
8, 14, and 13. Small Grazing-runs 124, 152, 151, Sections 4 and
5, Block XVI, Pine Valley Survey District : Small Grazing-
runs 121, 122, 123, and Run 152 to the Goulter River, by
the Goulter River to its confluence with the Ward’s Pass
Stream, and by the Ward’s Pass Stream to Ward’s Pass ;
thence towards the west generally by the summit of the
range to Bishop’s Cap; thence again towards the north by
the said summit to Mount Rintoul, the point of commence-
ment. As delineated in red outline on the map aforesaid
and numbered 3.

All that land in Block XV, Wakamarina Survey District,
containing an area of 300 acres, more or less. Commencing
at the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block XV, Waka-
marina Survey District: bounded to the east generally by
Sections 5, 2, and 4, said Block XV, to the south by Section 1,
Block XV, and to the west to the reserve for the growth and
preservation of timber to the point of commencement. As
delineated in red outline on the map aforesaid and numbered 4.
