Permanent Staff with his original rank and seniority, to date from 24th March, 1919 ; and is appointed Area Officer, Group No. 12, Nelson, and Adjutant to the 12th (Nelson and Marlborough) Regiment, with the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 25th March, 1919. 2nd Lieutenant Frederick William Thomas Bradshaw is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, and is absorbed into the Regiment of Royal New Zealand Artillery with his original rank and seniority, to date 22nd March, 1919 ; and is appointed Area Officer, Canterbury Military District, with the temporary rank of 2nd Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 23rd March, 1919. Lieutenant William Ernest Rowland Warren is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, and is absorbed in the Regiment of Royal New Zealand Artillery with his original rank and seniority, to date 18th April, 1919 ; and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 19th April, 1919. Captain (temp. Major) Frank Lawton Hindley, O.B.E., Reserve of Officers (temp.), relinquishes the temporary rank of Major on being struck off the strength of the N.Z. With reference to the notification published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37, of 27th March, 1919, relating to Lieutenant-Colonel Percival Robert Cook, M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, for the words "Dated 29th March, 1919," read "Dated 31st March, 1919." The notices published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 135, of 3rd October, 1918, relating to 2nd Lieutenants Norman George Sutherland and Henry Baxter Speight, Unattached List (b), General List, are deleted. The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of 20th February, 1919, relating to 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Edward James Shearne, should read "2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Edward James Shearne."
