Notice of Intention to take Additional Land in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, for the Purposes of a Post-office.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a post-office in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Auckland, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 1·17 perches.

Portion of southern portion of Allotment 1, Section 6, Suburbs of Auckland, Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District. (S.O. 20353.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45722, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

“Australia Pilot,” Vol. II.

A first edition of “Australia Pilot,” Vol. II, dated 21st June, 1918, has been published, containing sailing directions for the south and east coasts of Australia from Cape Northumberland to Port Jackson, including also Bass Strait and Tasmania, formerly in “Australia Directory,” Vol. I, which can now be cancelled.

The following Admiralty Notices to Mariners, issued since the work went to press, affect this book: Nos. 853, 1146, and 1331 of 1918, also No. 129 of 1919.

“Australia Pilot,” Vol. I.

A first edition of “Australia Pilot,” Vol. I, dated 22nd August, 1918, has been published.

The following Notices to Mariners, issued since going to press, affect this book: Nos. 1122, 1126, 1230, 1231, and 1232 of 1918.

Note.—“Australia Directory,” Vol. I, 1907, should be retained until “Australia Pilot,” Vol. II, which may be expected shortly, is received.
