southern boundary of Manawakaiaia or Whakatere Block
and the south-western boundaries of the State forest reserve
in Block VI, Waoku Survey District, to the Whirinaki River;
thence by the Whirinaki River to the place of commencement.
Omapere Riding.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in
the Hokianga County, commencing at the South Head of
the Hokianga River. Bounded towards the west and north
generally by the Hokianga River to its confluence with the
Whirinaki River; towards the east generally by the Whiri-
naki River aforesaid, the Rawene and Taheke Ridings above
described, and part of the Bay of Islands County; towards
the south generally by the Hobson County; and again to-
wards the west generally by the Tasman Sea to the place of
commencement.

Claims by British Subjects to Property in Russia.
Public Trust Office,

IT is hereby notified for the information of all whom it
may concern that the registration of claims by British
subjects to property or other interests in Russia is under-
taken by the Foreign Claims Office at the Foreign Office in
London.
All persons, firms, and companies of British nationality in
New Zealand owning property in territory which on the lst
day of August, 1914, formed part of the Russian Empire,
or having claims against the Russian Government (including
any Government exercising de facto authority in any part of
that territory), or against any person, firm, or company, or
municipal or other local authority in that territory, should
transmit particulars of their claims to the Public Trustee at
Wellington (on the requisite form) for registration by the
Foreign Claims Office.
Forms of claim are obtainable on application to the Public
Trustee.
No further notification of claims which have been already
transmitted to the Public Trustee is necessary.
It should be understood that the registration of a claim
does not imply any undertaking on the part of His Majesty's
Government to put it forward or any assurance that if put
forward it will be satisfied.

Importation of Goods into the United Kingdom.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the New
Zealand Government has been advised that all restric-
tions on the importation into the United Kingdom of goods
which are exported from and are the produce or manufacture
of British Dominions have been removed except in the case
of--
(a.) Gold, or articles containing gold, except when con-
sioned direct to the Bank of England;
(b.) Spirits other than brandy and rum; and
(c.) Hops.

Tangiteroria Riding taken on the 4th March, 1919, on the
proposal to borrow £3,500 for the formation and metalling of
roads in the Tangiteroria Riding, the number of votes recorded
was as follows : For the proposal, 17 ; against the proposal, 21.
I therefore declare the proposal to be rejected.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the
Borough of New Plymouth was taken on the 18th day of
February, 1919, on a proposal to raise a special loan of
£10,000, to form streets and footways and generally to im-
prove the streets and footways in the said Borough of New
Plymouth.
The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal was
672. The number of valid votes recorded against the pro-
posa was 290. The total number of valid votes recorded
was 962.
I therefore declare the said proposal carried.
