Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps and Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Staff Corps and Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS.
Captain Frank Hudson, N.Z. Staff Corps, vacates the appointment of Camp Adjutant, Awapuni Camp, dated 31st January, 1919, and is appointed Group Commander, Group No. 20. Dated 3rd February, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Norman William McDonald Weir, N.Z. Staff Corps, vacates the appointment of Musketry Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training-camps, and is temporarily appointed Group Commander, Group No. 14. Dated 28th January, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Douglas Bryan, N.Z. Staff Corps, vacates the appointment of Assistant Military Secretary and Aide-de-Camp to the Commandant of the N.Z. Military Forces, and is posted for administrative duties at Headquarters, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, London, and retains the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 18th February, 1919.
Major (temp. Lieut.-Colonel) Richard Neave, Essex Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of Infantry Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training-camps, and retains the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel until arrival in England. Dated 3rd December, 1918.
Honorary Captain (temp.) Henry Alexander Wilson, Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Equitation Instructor in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training-camps, and retains the honorary rank of Captain until further notice. Dated 24th December, 1918.
Captain Walker Vaughan Wilson, Queen Alexandra's 2nd (Wellington-West Coast) Mounted Rifles, relinquishes the appointment of Military Landing Officer and Railway Transport Officer, Auckland Military District. Dated 22nd February, 1919.
Honorary Lieutenant and Quartermaster John Thomas Graham, 3rd (Auckland) Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own) is appointed Military Landing Officer and Railway Transport Officer, Auckland Military District. Dated 22nd February, 1919.
Captain George Herbert Bellamy, Unattached List (b), performed the duties of Group Commander (temp.), No. 4 Group, from 11th October, 1917, to 12th February, 1919.
Captain Leslie Burton Burnett, M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, was appointed a member of a Special District Medical Board. Dated 1st June, 1918.
The undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Medical Corps were appointed members of the C2 Re-examination Board. Dated 23rd August, 1917:—

Captain Alexander Wilson Hogg, M.B.
Lieutenant Claude Henry Thomas Skelley, Unattached List (b), is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst employed as Assistant Provost Marshal, Otago Military District. Dated 10th February, 1919.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 10, of 30th January, 1919, relating to 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) John Reid is cancelled, and the following substituted:—
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) John Reid, Unattached List (b), General List, vacates the appointment of Officer in Charge Transport, Trentham Camp, and is attached for duty at the Remount Depot. Dated 12th February, 1919.

Lieutenant (temp.) Arthur Alfred Ernest Fredric resigns his appointment. Dated 7th February, 1919.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Harry Whitehead, from North Island Battalion, to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.). Dated 15th February, 1919.
1ST (CANTERBURY) REGIMENT.
Coast Defence Detachment.
2nd Lieutenant Reginald James Richards to be Lieutenant. Dated 15th February, 1919.
5TH (WELLINGTON) REGIMENT.
Major (temp. Colonel) James Jacob Esson, C.M.G., to be Lieutenant-Colonel, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913. Dated 29th July, 1918.
Lieutenant (temp.) William Henry Neville Amos resigns his appointment. Dated 15th February, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Douglas Creighton Todd resigns his appointment. Dated 11th February, 1919.
7TH (WELLINGTON-WEST COAST) REGIMENT.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain (temp.) Allan Cameron Owen, M.B., on ceasing to do duty with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain in the Corps. Dated 24th January, 1919.
N.Z. DENTAL CORPS.
Lieutenant (temp. Major) Robert Dickson Elliott relinquishes the temporary rank of Major, but retains the appointment of Principal Dental Officer, Trentham Camp, and the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 1st March, 1919.

Charles James Newell to be Lieutenant, to date from 28th September, 1916, and is appointed Deputy Assistant Director of Dental Services, Canterbury Military District, and granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so acting. Dated 28th September, 1916.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Charles James Newell relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Assistant Director of Dental Services, Canterbury Military District, and the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 28th February, 1919.
Henry Rattray is appointed Deputy Assistant Director of Dental Services, Canterbury Military District, and is granted the honorary rank of Captain (temp.) whilst so employed. Dated 1st March, 1919.
