soever; and publication in the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in Council containing such revocation shall be sufficient notice to the company, and to all persons concerned or interested, that this Order in Council, and the license, rights, and privileges thereby granted and conferred, have been revoked and determined.
- The removal by the company of any shingle or sand, or the erection of any hoppers on the said land, shall be sufficient evidence of the acceptance by the company of the terms and conditions of this Order in Council.

WHEREAS by section four of the Public Service Act, 1912, it is enacted that nothing in that Act shall apply to any officer or class of officers to whom or to which, on the recommendation of and for special reasons assigned by the Commissioner, the Governor-General in Council declares that the said Act shall not apply: And whereas the Commissioner has recommended that the said Act should not apply to the officers described in the Schedule hereto for the special reasons assigned by him:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that nothing in the Public Service Act, 1912, shall apply to the officers described in the Schedule hereto.

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, a license was granted to Percy N. Kingswell to occupy certain land below low-water mark in the Hauraki Gulf, and to erect hoppers thereon, for the purpose of taking shingle:
And whereas such license has, with the consent of the Minister of Marine, been assigned to the Auckland Shingle Dredging Company (Limited), hereinafter called "the company":
And whereas the company has requested that such license may be revoked and a new license issued in lieu thereof, and it is desirable to do so:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said license of the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and every right and privilege conferred thereby.

Revoking the Naturalization of Ng Mong On.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, 1919.

WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to Ng Mong On on the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and five: And whereas the Governor-General in Council is satisfied that it is expedient for the welfare of the Realm to revoke the naturalization of the said Ng Mong On:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Naturalization Act, 1917, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the naturalization of the said Ng Mong On shall be revoked, and that the said Ng Mong On shall cease to be a British subject naturalized in New Zealand as from the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Revoking the Prohibition of the Importation of Unset Diamonds.

WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, as extended by section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, prohibit the importation of any goods the prohibition of the importation of which is in his opinion necessary in the public interest:
And whereas by Order in Council made and gazetted on the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, the importation of unset diamonds into the Dominion of New Zealand was prohibited save with the consent of the Minister of Customs:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to revoke the aforesaid Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Amendment Act, 1915, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.
