Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Linton Domain.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this third day of March, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of any public domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
to be the Linton Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past ten o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Kairanga County Office, Palmerston North, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
LINTON DOMAIN.
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 300, Town of Linton, known as Gladstone Square. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 550 links; towards the east by Derby Street, 750 links; towards the south by a public road, 550 links; and towards the west by Beaconsfield Street, 750 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/648, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this third day of March, 1919.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Winchester Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JOHN PATERSON,
ALFRED THOMAS LANGFORD,
RICHARD MADDREN, and
JOHN PHILP,
as from the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Winchester Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Winchester Public Library as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
WINCHESTER DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 42 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Reserves 2402 and 2449, situated in Block XIV, Geraldine Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve 2775, 736 links; towards the north-east by the Winchester to Beach Road, 746 links; towards the east by the Great Southern Railway Reserve, 3550 links; towards the south by Reserve 2401, 893 links; and towards the west by a public road, 4108 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/90, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured with a red margin.

as from the fourth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, to be the Dunrobin Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolhouse, Dunrobin, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
