NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Wellington Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Pastoral Runs in Otago Land District for License to Discharged Soldiers.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 15th January, 1919.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned pastoral runs are open for selection by discharged soldiers in terms of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, 27th February, 1919.
Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Friday, 28th day of February, 1919, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant so desires he may be examined by the Land Board of any other district.
The ballot will be held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, at the conclusion of the examination of the applicants.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—WAITAKI COUNTY.—KAKANUI, KAUR00, WAIHEMO, AND OTEPOPO SURVEY DISTRICTS.
RUN 571, Class A: Area, 17,628 acres; half-yearly rent, £115; term, fourteen years.
Weighted with £586 7s., valuation for improvements.
Situated about seventeen miles from Maheno Railway-station, post-office, and school. Altitude, from 2,000 ft. to 4,700 ft. Good tussock country, with a general northerly to north-westerly aspect. Well watered by the south branch of the Kakanui River, Deep Creek, and tributaries.
Possession will be given on the 1st day of April, 1919.
Run 572, Class A: Area, 15,380 acres; half-yearly rent, £90; term, fourteen years.
Weighted with £1,455 13s. 6d., valuation for improvements.
Situated about ten miles from Maheno Railway-station, post-office, and school. Good tussock country, with a general southerly to south-easterly aspect. Well watered by Kauroo River and tributaries. Altitude, from 1,800 ft. to 4,700 ft.
Possession will be given on the 1st day of April, 1919.
Residence is compulsory.
