Lieutenant E. J. Anderson, vice Captain E. V. Freed, M.C., died of wounds. Dated 24th September, 1918.
Lieutenant J. T. Deehan is granted the temporary rank of Captain while Commanding a Company of the Composite Reserve Battalion, to date 22nd September, 1918, and relinquishes the temporary rank on proceeding overseas. Dated 2nd October, 1918.

2nd Lieutenant G. Halse, having been declared by a Medical Board to be unfit for general service within twelve months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34. Dated 25th September, 1918.
