SECOND SCHEDULE.
MANGAWARA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards
the north generally by the Waikare Lake, from the north-
eastern corner of Section 366, Block V, Hapuakohe Survey
District, to the northernmost corner of Section 191, Block V
aforesaid; thence towards the north-east generally by the
north-eastern boundary of the said Section 191, the northern
and eastern boundaries of Section 1, and continuation of last-
mentioned boundary to the junction of the road at the western-
most corner of Section 23; along the road forming the
southern boundary of that section, along the western and
south-western boundaries of Section 24, the abutment of a
road, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 25 and
26 to the Matahuru Stream; along the stream to the road
forming the western boundary of Section 241; along that
road and the road running south-easterly fronting Sections
197, 199, part 465, 202, 204, 206, and part 465 to Section 324;
along the road forming the western boundary of Section 324;
along the western and southern boundaries of Section 331
to the western boundary of Section 342 to its southernmost
corner; thence along the road forming the south-eastern
boundary of that section, and the road forming the south-
western boundary of Section 467 to the Mangawara Stream;
thence towards the south generally by that stream to the
road at the north-western corner of Section 151, Block XIII,
of the said survey district; thence towards the west gene-
rally along that road running northward past Sections 188,
189, 190, 192, and 193, and the road along the northern
boundaries of Sections 193, 194, and 196; along the western
boundary of Section 196 to its south-western corner, and
thence along a right line to Trig. Station Pukemore No. 676A;
thence along a right line to the road at the south-eastern
corner of Section 390, Taupiri Parish; along that road to the
northern boundary of Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District;
thence due east to the road near the southernmost corner
of Section 348; along that road to and along the south-
western boundary of the said Section 348 to the junction of
roads at the easternmost corner of Section 349, Block V,
Hapuakohe Survey District; thence by a right line to the
junction of roads at the westernmost corner of Section 280,
Block V, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence by the north-
eastern boundaries of Sections 348 and 366, Block V afore-
said, to the place of commencement.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than
Alienation in favour of the Crown.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of February, 1919.

IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit,
for the period of one year from the date of this Order in
Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the
Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

TANGIHANGA Block: Approximate area, 5,424 acres; Mangao-
poro Survey District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of February, 1919.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act,
1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is pro-
vided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council,
on the application of any Borough Council, declare the
district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to
be a fire district under the said Act :
And whereas an application has been made by the Waitara
Borough Council in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, and it appears expedient to grant the said application :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the
said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare the Borough of Waitara to be a fire district under
the said Act.

WHEREAS by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, it
is enacted that the Governor-General may from
time to time, by Order in Council, appoint fit persons to be
Wardens, who shall hold office during the Governor-General’s
pleasure :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred by the said section nine
of the Mining Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint
JOSEPH WILLIAM POYNTON
to be a Warden, to hold and exercise the duties of such office
under and subject to the provisions of the said Act, during
pleasure, on and from the twenty-first day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Regulations for Deer-shooting, Mahia Peninsula.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said
Act”), I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby make the following regulations prescribing the deer-
shooting season in that part of the Rotorua Acclimatization
District comprised in the Mahia Peninsula which is in the
said acclimatization district, and the conditions affecting
the same, and also the form of license and the fee payable
therefor.
REGULATIONS.

RED-DEER stags may be taken or killed within the above-
mentioned part of the Rotorua Acclimatization District
from the 26th March, 1919, to the 26th April, 1919 (both
days inclusive). -
Licenses to take or kill such deer may be issued by
the Postmaster at Opoutama, on payment of a license fee of
£3, in the form prescribed in the Schedule hereto, and
subject to the said Act and these regulations. Provided that
not more than one such license shall be issued to the same
person.
